Perché consigliamo questo libro: Questo è un libro da consigliare a tutti, a patto che se la sentano di affrontare gli argomenti al centro della trama, perché non stiamo parlando di una storia facile. Però il punto di vista (quello di Jack, che ha cinque anni) è un tocco da maestro dell’autrice, che riesce a trasmettere tutto l’orrore della situazione attraverso occhi innocenti che non conoscono una realtà diversa. Se questo punto di vista, che è senza dubbio la forza del libro, alleggerisce la lettura, lo fa solo al prezzo di rendere il lettore ancora più consapevole dell’orribile realtà di cui si parla nella storia. Se ve la sentite, questo è un libro imperdibile e la sua autrice è diventata senza dubbio una delle mie preferite.
