Perché lo consigliamo: Non mi aspettavo molto da questo libro, invece mi ha sorpreso. La storia parte con tre ragazzi emarginati perché praticano la magia, in una città in cui la magia non è vista di buon occhio. Nel corso dell’ultimo anno di scuola prima dell college, si troveranno di fronte ad avvenimenti che metteranno alla prova la loro amicizia e la loro lealtà gli uni verso gli altri. Il sistema magico è molto semplice, ma anche interessante, perché permette a chi vuole di impare la magia come fosse una materia scolastica, con tanto di libri. La storia si legge in modo molto scorrevole e i personaggi sono particolarmente adorabili, anche se ho seriamente dubitato la moralità di certi comportamenti.
