Perché lo consigliamo: Consiglio questo libro, ma avviso che è il primo libro di una serie di cui il quarto, e ultimo, è previsto in uscita ad Agosto 2021.
Non è difficile trovare libri con dei protagonisti con i superpoteri, e qui troviamo un'intera società basata sulla lotta tra supereroi e supercattivi. Tutto questo può sembrare un cliché, ma in nessun momento della storia se ne trova uno: ogni elemento di questo genere ha un taglio diverso dal solito e questo porta il libro ad essere davvero originale.
Ho apprezzato molto la varietà di identità rappresentate, a partire dalla protagonista ma anche in tutti i personaggi secondari, che permette di mostrare un mondo futuristico dove non c’è discriminazione di razza e identità sessuale.
