Perché lo consigliamo: principalmente per lo stile e l’eleganza della scrittura, che valorizzano sia la trama, che soprattutto i personaggi, anzi: il personaggio principale, che è Agatha Christie. La sua storia è raccontata in flashback e le indagini sulla sua scomparsa fanno da cornice alla narrazione, con il mistero (mai risolto davvero, nella realtà) che lascia spesso e volentieri spazio alle vicende umane e storiche dei protagonisti. Un libro piacevole da leggere in tutte le sue parti, dall’inizio alla fine.
